Thorlabs offers both unmounted and mounted zero-order wave plates with either quarter- or half-wave retardance. These wave plates offer substantially lower dependence on temperature and wavelength than their multi-order counterparts. Quartz, polymer, and liquid crystal varieties are available. In addition, we also offer polymer vortex retarders, which are a zero-order, half-wave plates that have a spatially varying fast-axis direction.
