Use to Hold Our Beam Expanders
The KM100V and KM200V Kinematic V-Clamp Mounts provide ±4 degrees of precision tip and tilt adjustment for cylindrical objects. When post mounted, these kinematic V-clamps can achieve height adjustment by positionally changing the post within its mating post holder. The 1/4"-80 TPI (threads per inch) adjuster screws come complete with a knurled knob for easy adjustment. These knobs can be removed to expose a hex socket, a feature that minimizes the opportunity for unwanted movement of the device. The mounts are fabricated from black anodized aluminum and the clamping arm posts are fabricated from stainless steel. An optional accessory, the LN2580 bronze locking nut, is available to lock the adjusters once the desired position is reached.

The KM100V Kinematic V-Block Mount is ideal where precision tip and tilt adjustment of cylindrical objects, such as a Fiber Collimation Package, is required. Clamping force is applied via a PM3 Clamping Arm (one included with each mount). The 1/4"-80 adjusters provide an adjustment per revolution of 8 mrad/rev.
Large Kinematic V-Clamp Mount, Ø0.29" (Ø7.4 mm) to Ø1.64" (Ø41.7 mm)
The KM200V Kinematic V-Block Mount is a larger version of our KM100V featured above, making it ideal where precision tip and tilt adjustment of larger cylindrical objects, such as a Laser Diode Module, is required. The larger frame of the KM200V, along with a series of heavy-duty springs, allow this kinematic mount to handle loads of up to 1 kg (2.2 lbs). Provisions are made for two PM4 Clamping Arms (one included with each mount). The 1/4"-80 adjusters provide an adjustment per revolution of 5 mrad/rev.

Hello, It appears that this only comes with the screws/adapters to fix it to a standard 1/4-20" XYZ stage in one spot. This leads to instability. Can you please provide the part numbers for an additional screw/adapter? Thankyou.

Thank you for contacting Thorlabs. I have reached out to you to clarify your inquiry. In general, these mounts come with hardware to mount it in one spot because they are intended for post-mounting. When mounted in this configuration, cranking all the way down on the included cap screw should eliminate the potential rotational instability.

To who it may concern, the km100V has in theory up to 4 ways of attaching it to the micro stage. However, due to asymmetries there is only one. For example, if you one wants to have two clamps face each other in mirror symmetry, it is impossible to realize this configuration. I don't understand why the clamp needs to be so asymmetrical. It appears that the designer never had to work with them. I would recommend to rethink the design and put functionality up the priority list. Best regards
