The TRT2/M translating post has been designed to provide quick, stable height adjustment of a mounted component within an optical setup. Utilizing a knurled collet, the TRT2/M can translate ±3 mm from its nominal position via 1 mm translation per revolution. When fully compressed, the post is 2.01" (50.1 mm) and a maximum length of 57.4 mm. Once the desired height is achieved, the TRT2/M can be locked into place with a locking ring. Both the adjustment collar and locking ring have diameters slightly smaller than the post diameter, allowing the entire post to pass through all of our Ø1/2" construction accessories without interference.
