This specialty single mode fiber is engineered for a variety of applications including biotechnology, laser delivery, and telecommunications. These fibers offer enhanced bend-insensitivity as well as reduced splice loss while providing excellent resistance to bend induced loss similar to that of conventional fibers. The SM1250G80 offers a reduced outer diameter, which enhances resistance to mechanical failure through static fatigue, thus increasing the lifetime of the fiber.
