Our Ø2" RSP2C rotation mounts utilize two precision bearings for smooth, backlash-free rotation. The apertures are threaded with our internal SM2 threading to accept Ø2" optics. One SM2RR threaded retaining ring is included with each mount, which is used to hold an optic up to 0.54" thick.

The mount features a knurled edge for adjusting rotation and a 360° laser-engraved scale marked at 2° increments allows for precise, repeatable positioning and fine angular adjustment. For calibration purposes, the scale on the RSP2C can be unlocked and rotated so that it can be aligned to the axis of an optic (i.e., fast axis of a waveplate). A top-located setscrew can be tightened to lock the rotation of the mount.
