Features
- High Reflectance in Visible and NIR Regions
- Protective SiO2 Overcoat Prevents Oxidation
- Laser Damage Threshold: 3 J/cm2 (1064 nm, 10 ns Pulse, 10 Hz, Ø1.000 mm)
Silver coated mirrors offer the highest reflection in the visible-NIR spectrum (450 nm – 2 µm, Ravg >97.5%) of any metallic mirror. While excellent in the visible, silver mirrors also offer high reflection in the IR (2 – 20 µm, Ravg >96%). In order to protect these mirrors from oxidation, they have a durable SiO2 overcoat with an approximate thickness of 100 nm.
Thorlabs also offers these mirrors in 10 packs at a 10% discount over the regular price.
