The PAN5710IR3 External Sensor Head is designed for use in the 1300 – 1700 nm range. The head can be connected to a PAX5710 Series Polarimeter to change the wavelength range of the device without purchasing a new system or as an additional sensor allowing the system to collect measurements from multiple sources simultaneously. If the PAN5710IR3 is being used to replace the sensor included with a PAX5710 polarimeter, the readout card in the module will be compatible with this sensor head regardless of the system’s original specified wavelength range. When using the PAN5710IR3 in addition to another sensor head, another readout card is required.
