The 16 mm Right Angle Kinematic Cage Mount mounts the optic in a double bored adjustment plate for two lines of stable contact and securely holds the optic with a locking setscrew. The kinematic adjustment plate mounts the optic at a 45° angle with ±4° pitch and yaw adjustment range. Two of the three M3-0.25 mm threaded actuator screws are adjustable with removable knobs; an included 1.5 mm hex key adjusts the third actuator screw.

Right Angle Cage Mounts are designed to allow the functions of a kinematic optic mount to be easily integrated with cage system components and SM-Series lens tubes. These mounts provide kinematic tip and tilt of an optic held in an adjustment plate with a mean horizontal position at a 45° angle. Entrance and exit ports are equipped with SM-Series threaded holes and four 4-40 tapped holes center-to-center spaced to mate with our Cage System standards. An ERSCA ER Rod Adapter is necessary to effectively connect, adjust and lock two right angle cage mounts together using cage system standards; this configuration allows for the alignment of the beam to the center of the cage system.
