The ID25SS/M lever-actuated, continuously variable iris diaphragm is designed to provide smooth operation over many thousands of cycles. The individual steel leaves pivot within a black-anodized aluminum housing and are mounted on a 75 mm long stainless steel post. Please note that these irises are fabricated from magnetic stainless steel. Due to its hardness, magnetic stainless steel offers a longer lifetime than typical nonmagnetic stainless steel.
