The HB980T Bow-Tie Style, Single Mode, Polarization Maintaining (PM) fiber is specially made to be used in telecom applications. Bow-tie style fiber uses trapezoidal prism stress rods. The HB1250T PM fiber has been optimized for telecom use with polarization multiplexing of EDFA pump lasers.
