This mounted frosted glass alignment disk is mounted in an SM2-threaded cell. The 1500 grit N-BK7 diffuser is an excellent alignment target for visible beams. An incident beam can be easily seen on either side of the disk and aligned to the Ø2 mm centering hole. The SM2-threaded mount allows the alignment disk to be quickly inserted or removed from an optical system without the need of retaining rings and spanner wrenches to secure the disk within a system.
