The DCC1545M is an ultra-compact and lightweight CMOS camera with 1280 x 1024 px (SXGA) resolution. It is flexible and rugged, while offering remarkable image quality. The DCC1545M is as easy to use as a webcam. It has a 7 mm thread depth 1/4"-20 mounting hole and threads for CS Mount lenses. Adapters are included for SM1 or C Mount threading. This camera is ideal for many applications from microscopy to monitoring.

The DCC1545M is comprised from a large, high-quality CMOS sensor with a small pitch of 5.2 µm. In full frame mode (1280 x 1024 pixel), the maximum frame rate is 25 frames per second; this can be greatly increased by the variable pixel clock, which allows frame rates up to 250 fps [at reduced Regions of Interest (ROIs) and sufficient light conditions].

The DCC1545M offers a CS thread and is shipped with a set of adapter rings: CS to SM1 and CS to C Mount. Using these it can be connected with all CS and C-mount objectives or even microscopes. Using the SM1 adapter it can be mounted to the cage system. The small footprint and the mini USB 2.0 connector at the side allows usage in setups where space is at a premium. The housing can be fixed with a 8-32 (M4) screw (7 mm maximum threaded into camera). Be careful not to thread too long of a screw into the camera as this will damage it.

This camera also comes with an extensive Windows-compatible software package. Standard drivers like Direct Show (WDM), Active X, and TWAIN are provided. In addition, a selection of demo programs (including source code) is supplied. Windows and Linux drivers as well as a SDK (C++, VB, Labview) are available.
