Features
- Eliminates Ghosting
- No Chromatic Aberration with Focused Beams
- Minimal Change in Optical Path Length
- Surface Quality: 40-20 (Scratch-Dig)
This Thorlabs' Ø1" Pellicle Beamsplitter, which is coated for use at 635 nm, is ideal for use in applications where chromatic dispersion must be minimized. This Pellicle beamsplitter virtually eliminates ghosting since the second surface reflection is superimposed on the first one. However, it is extremely fragile due to the nitrocellulose membrane being only a few microns thick.
