Thorlabs' AOK2-UM01 Adaptive Optics Toolkit bundles a 32 actuator Mini-DM gold-coated deformable mirror from Boston Micromachines, one of our strategic partners and a leader in the development of MEMS-based mirror products, with our WFS150-5C Shack-Hartmann Wavefront Sensor and control software. Together these three components form a closed-loop system capable of real-time wavefront distortion compensation. Also included in the kit are all necessary collimation/imaging optics, a laser source, and all associated mounting hardware, which will drastically decrease the startup time needed to incorporate adaptive optics into your experiment. These pre-aligned components just need to be arranged on a user-supplied breadboard.
