The H45B2 45° mount assembly is useful when there is a need to change the optical beam height on an optics bench. Ø1" optics, such as mirrors or beamsplitters, can be directly mounted into the black anodized housing. The optic is held in place with a nylon-tipped 8-32 setscrew which accepts a 5/64" (2 mm) ball driver.

For beamsplitter applications, a through hole centered on the back of the optic mount is provided. When used with a beamsplitter, the clear aperture for the transmitted beam is Ø0.326" (Ø8.3 mm). When used with a mirror, the clear aperture of the mount is Ø0.707" (Ø18 mm).

The H45B2 ships completely assembled with the optic housing, aluminum post, and mounting base for convenient fastening to an optical table or breadboard.

The H45 45° optic mount is useful for more versatile laboratory applications and can be mounted to any of our Ø1" kinematic mirror mounts. Ø1" optics, such as mirrors or beamsplitters, can be directly mounted into the black anodized housing. The optic is held in place with a nylon-tipped 8-32 setscrew which accepts a 5/64" (2 mm) ball driver. Two through holes, located at 90° to each other are provided for beamsplitter applications.

The MA45-2 is designed to allow our KM100 mirror mount to be mounted at 45° with respect to an optical bench. The beam height of the KM100 and MA45-2 combination is 2" (MA45-2) or 50 mm (MA45-50/M) depending on the model chosen.

An 8-32 (M4) tap is provided on the 45° flat so the KM100 can be directly fastened to that surface with a cap screw.
