1500 Grit Ground Glass on Both Sides Drilled Centering Hole Great for Viewing Beams Exiting a Lens TubeThis frosted glass alignment disk is made from a 1500 grit Ground Glass Diffuser. The DG10-1500-H1 is Ø1" (Ø25.4 mm), and features a Ø1 mm (Ø0.04") hole drilled in the center for alignment purposes. The disk is ideal for use when viewing a beam exiting a lens tube as the beam can be seen through the ground glass. An example of this is shown in the image at the top right of this page. The disk is also available mounted in SM threaded cells in the section below.

These drop-in alignment plates are convenient tools for aligning visible beams in cage-based optical systems. They provide a Ø1 mm through hole at the exact center of the cage assembly (except for the CPA2, which contains a Ø5 mm through hole). For easy alignment, the through hole is surrounded by engraved rings. The VRC4CPT Alignment Plate is specifically designed to align IR beams in a 30-mm-cage-based optical assembly. The front is identical to the CPA1 (shown to the left), and the back (shown to the right) includes a non-rotating IR-sensitive fluorescing alignment disk made of the same material used in our VRC4 Viewing Card. This disk has a centered Ø2 mm through hole, while the plate has a Ø1 mm centered through hole. See the table below for more information.

ERCPS Cage Plate Stops mark the position of a cage plate, allowing it to be moved and repositioned in a cage system. These clamps are 0.14" thick and are compatible with Ø6 mm ER rods for 30 mm and 60 mm cage systems. Utilizing a flexure design, the clamps are secured in place using a 0.05" hex key. They can be easily clamped onto the middle of a cage rod without removing other components.

Our BHM1 Magnetic Ruler measures beam heights up to 6" (152.4 mm) on an optical table or breadboard. One side of the screen is laser engraved with 1/16" and 1.0 mm graduations for beam height measurement. Twelve Ø2.0 mm (Ø0.08") holes positioned next to the engraved numbers at 25.0 mm and 1.00" intervals allow the laser beam to pass through the ruler. This measurement tool is constructed from bead-blasted aluminum to remove any sharp edges and then anodized to create a homogeneously diffusive surface. The compact size allows the tool to fit into small gaps between components, enabling easy integration into a laser setup. The base of each screen is fitted with a pair of neodymium magnets that hold the ruler to magnetic work surfaces and provide flexibility of movement when compared to an option that is bolted to the table. Please note: Due to the presence of magnets, this ruler should not be used in the vicinity of pacemakers, credit cards, or other devices affected by magnetic fields.

Our TPSM1(/M) Magnetic Laser Safety Screens are constructed from bead-blasted aluminum to remove any sharp edges, then anodized to create a homogeneously diffusive surface. One side of the screen is laser engraved with a 1/2" or 10 mm target grid for rough laser alignment, while the other side is blank to provide a complete beam blocking option. Their compact size allows them to fit into small gaps between your accessories, allowing easy integration into a laser setup. The base of each screen is fitted with a pair of powerful magnets that hold the screen to magnetic work surfaces and provide flexibility of movement. A through hole is also provided to allow the screen to be tightened down using a cap screw for more permanent placement or for use in non-magnetic applications. Please note: Due to the presence of strong magnets, these laser screens should not be used in the vicinity of pacemakers, credit cards, or other devices affected by magnetic fields. |
