The MOIL-30 Microscope Immersion Oil is designed for use with our selection of Olympus Oil Immersion Objectives. These objectives require an oil interface between the front surface of the objective and the cover glass in order to acheive numerical apertures greater than 1.0. This low auto-fluorescnece oil increases the signal-to-noise ratio in fluorescence microscopy when compared to other immersion oils.
