Our SM05-threaded (0.535"-40) irises are continuously variable irises compatible with our SM05 lens tubes. Each iris has internal SM05 threading on one side and external SM05 threading on the other side. The individual black spring steel leaves pivot within the outer ring of the iris and are designed for long-lasting performance over several thousand cycles. They are available in lever-activated or ring-activated versions. The ring-activated iris is ideal for use in a 16 mm cage system, where the cage rods may limit the range of lever adjustment.
