Our Ø2" RSP2 and RSP2C rotation mounts utilize two precision bearings for smooth, backlash-free rotation. The apertures are threaded with our internal SM2 threading to accept Ø2" (Ø50.8 mm) optics. One SM2RR threaded retaining ring is included with each mount, which is used to hold an optic up to 0.51" (13 mm) thick for the RSP2 and 0.54" (13.7 mm) thick with the RSP2C mount. The SM2 threading also provides a means to connect SM2 lens tubes and other Thorlabs components to the mount.

Both mounts feature a knurled edge for adjusting rotation and a 360° laser-engraved scale marked at 2° increments allows for precise, repeatable positioning and fine angular adjustment. For calibration purposes, the scale on the RSP2C can be unlocked and rotated so that it can be aligned to the axis of an optic (i.e., fast axis of a waveplate). A top-located setscrew can be tightened to lock the rotation of the mount. The RSP2's scale cannot be adjusted like the RSP2C's.

The LCRM2 is designed to mount Ø2" (50.8 mm) optics up to 13 mm thick in an SM2 threaded rotation carriage. The optic is secured using the included SM2RR retaining ring (the SPW604 spanner wrench is ideal for tightening this retaining ring). For thicker optics, any of our SM2 series of lens tubes can be threaded into the carriage. The smooth rotation mechanism allows for precise positioning of the rotation carriage. The mount is compatible with the 60 mm cage system and can be mounted on a TR series post using the #8-32 (M4) tapped mounting hole on the bottom side of the rotation mount.

This Nested Lens Mount Set is comprised of an inner optic carriage and an outer mounting ring (sold separately), allowing for easy exchange of optics while maintaining optical alignment. The LM2-A inner carriage is laser-engraved radially with graduation marks every 2° and labels every 20°. It accepts accepts Ø2" (Ø50.8 mm) optics up to 0.48" (12.2 mm) thick into its SM2 (Ø2.035"-40) threaded bore. The mating LM2-B locks the position of the LM2-A using a top-located thumbscrew.

These mounts are post mountable via a bottom-located #8-32 (M4 x 0.7) tapped hole. Each LM2-A includes one SM2RR retaining ring.

The LC1A(/M) Swivel Mount is ideal for building 60 mm prism and grating-based systems, such as spectrometers, that require arbitrary angular alignment. The plates and mounting platform of the LC1A are independently lockable. To aid in alignment, there is a scribed scale with 2° increments below the pedestal. The platform has an array of threaded holes, making it easy to mount a variety of optical elements, such as prisms and gratings, as well as our PM3(/M) or PM4(/M) clamping arms.
