The SCP05 XY translating lens mount has 100 threads per inch, translates 0.25 mm per revolution, and has no graduations. The SCP05 provides ±1 mm of travel perpendicular to the optical axis of the cage system. The movable carriage is threaded with our SM05 (0.535"-40) series of threads and directly accepts Ø1/2" optics.

The CP1XY offers ±0.25 mm of XY travel manipulated by M2.5 x 0.20 fine pitch adjusters. The stainless steel flexure design provides excellent long-term stability and is ideal for fiber coupling applications or experiments that use spatial filters or pinholes. The center of the plate is tapped through with an SM05 (0.535"-40) thread to allow the integration of our extensive SM05 threaded family of products. The stainless steel adjustment plate is vacuum compatible to 10^-5 Torr.

The 16 mm Slip Plate Positioner is designed to provide coarse XY positioning of optical components within our cage assembly system. This design provides manual adjustment only and is best utilized in conjunction with an alignment laser to monitor centricity. The movable carriage is threaded with Thorlabs’ SM05 (0.535"-40) series threads and directly accepts Ø1/2" (Ø12.7 mm) optics up to 0.15" (3.8 mm) thick.

This mount utilizes M3-0.25 fine adjustment screws to provide ±1mm of travel perpendicular to the optical axis. The adjustment screws provide 250 µm/rev, and there is a 5/64 hex socket in the back end of each screw. An L-wrench may be used to achieve small incremental movements. This XY mount utilizes SM05 series threads to secure the optic, and is therefore compatible with any externally threaded SM05 series component.

The CT102 has an internal SM05 threading for mounting Ø0.5" components up to 0.39" (9.9 mm) thick or externally threaded SM05 components. The CT102 allows for ±1 mm of travel in the X and Y direction. The mount is compatible with the MS103 adapter plate and with the CT1 30 mm cage Z-axis translation stage. One SM05RR retaining ring, which secures a component by sandwiching it between the ring and the back lip on the mount, and two 4-40 cap screws for securing the mount are included with each unit.
