These small micrometers provide travel ranges of 0 - 0.500" (148-811ST) or 0 - 13.00 mm (148-801ST). They feature engraved graduations in 0.001" (10 µm) divisions.

The spherical spindle tip provides a single point of contact, which minimizes positioning alignment errors. Thorlabs can integrate these micrometers into many of our standard products; please call for details.

Response from Sean at Thorlabs: Thank you for your feedback! The distance per revolution for our 140-811ST actuator is 0.025", and for our 140-801ST is 500 µm. We will work to add this information to the web spec tables for all our micrometers.

The distance translated per full revolution would also be useful information to include in the overview. Your overview only gives length graduations in terms of "Divisions" and I see many divisions on this product.

A response from Adam at Thorlabs: Thank you for pointing this error out. We have confirmed the dimension of 9.5mm, as you measured, and will change the drawing on the website. We will also make sure the next version of the catalog does not have this error.

website overview drawing says shaft diameter in 10mm, catalog drawing says 9.0mm, and the pdf and SW files indicate 9.5mm. The actual received item is 9.5mm diameter. So we need a bit of consistency here
