IR Product Offerings (λ > 2 μm)

There has been a growing interest in the infrared region of the optical spectrum in recent years from a broad range of disciplines including telecommunications and fiber applications, remote sensing, imaging and microscopy, and spectroscopy. The emergence and availability of high power, high quality, compact IR sources (such as IR Laser Diodes, see IR Light Sources link) has spurred much of this interest.

It is because of this growing interest that Thorlabs' has created this special guide containing all of our products designed exclusively for use in the IR at wavelengths longer than 2 μm. We currently offer a wide variety of optics, fiber, light sources, and detection and analysis equipment for use at these wavelengths and are expanding our product lines everyday.
